We are seeking Information Security Platform Engineer Intern who thrives in collaborative team settings and is passionate about developing scalable, cloud-native applications and platforms to support our growing business needs. This role is a key part of the Corporate Information Security team where protect the infrastructure and secure them from external and internal threats with help of technology and tools. We drive specific projects within CIS Org which help protect the Nike infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of modern security concepts, who can sense risks and take appropriate actions to mitigate the risks. Able to design and configure the security tools to identify, monitor and detect the risks from threat actors.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Global Technology Engineers will support various functions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate must be a strategic problem solver with the ability to see the big picture and the impact technology has across the entire organization. The engineer must possess an enthusiasm for consumer facing digital technology and innovation and be able to listen and communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.

• Pursuing Engineering in computer science, engineering, information sciences or related field

• Students with a graduation date of July 2026 and Intern from Jan to June 2026

• Strong understanding of designing and implementing web/mobile applications

• Ability to write computer code that is correct, well tested, and easy-to-read

Key Skills & Traits:

Knowledge of networking concepts, OSI layer, OWASPP top 10 and basic understanding of IoT.

Understanding cloud-based environment (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud).

Knowledge of Python Scripting is mandatory.

Understanding of security concepts, compliance needs like PCI-DSS, ISO27001 will help.

Passion to challenge their abilities and excited to protect the organisation inside out and externally.

Understanding of security concepts like Network Security, IoT Security and Security Automation.

Have good understanding of networking and security concepts. Who understands Python coding will be a great advantage.

Any knowledge on routers, switches, firewalls will be very helpful.

Keen attention to detail with a growth mindset and the desire to explore new technologies.

Strong collaboration and security mindset and problem-solving skills.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering Nike’s next-generation platforms. As a Information Security Platform Engineer Intern, you’ll leverage your technical understandings to build secure, resilient, scalable solutions, manage platform security, and ensure high standards of security embedded. You’ll also be responsible and working on secure projects which will protect Nike in day-in day-out. Day-to-Day Activities:

Working Networking products and End point products.

Configure and design security solutions which will be helpful to protect Nike. Focusing on the fundamentals of Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability in mind.

Work on projects which will secure Nike – Networking, Security Automation and IoT.

Ensure solutions are designed and developed with security embedded using a scalable, highly resilient cloud native architecture.

Design and develop tools and frameworks to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability and performance for the technology foundation of our platform.
