Description:Aeronautics Engineering & Technology is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop embedded software. Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C++ applications. Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++. It is desirable that the candidate have experience with embedded development using a real-time operating system.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline
- Experience in Earned Valued Management, metrics and process management
- Experience in software development
- Completed all required CAM training and be familiar with the CAM toolset
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skill.
- Proficiency with MS Office products (Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
***Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an Interim Secret clearance required to start.***

- Software development subject matter expert
- EV for Agile development
- Systems engineering and mission systems/avionics background
- Experience with Safety Critical and trusted software development process
- Experience with F35 proposal process
- Experience with resource estimation & management, software development estimation, project planning, and project management
- Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills of technical assignments
- Experience in areas of cost analysis, schedule, and risk & opportunity management
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
