Position Tittle: Sr. Software Engineer (153842-1) Duration: Contract to Hire Primary Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX Work Mode: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2remote Years of Experience: 10+ years applicable experience required overall Industry Background: Banking or Finance Roles and Responsibilities: • Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance. • Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. • Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems. • Advise customer about, or perform, maintenance of software system. • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures. Must have technical skills (Min 8+yrs of exp required in all of the below skills) Informatica ETL Agile Detail-oriented Oracle (creating and modifying tables) SQL (writing SQL queries) OBIEE – pull and create reports (work with product owners and business owners to build out dashboards) JIRA Oracle (Backend) SQL (Backend) Data warehousing Hadoop Tableau Degrees/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree computer or equivalent work experience required.
