In this hybrid role, you'll leverage your expertise in both backend development and AI knowledge and skills to build robust, scalable Data & AI services using AWS Kubernetes, Amazon Bedrock models.Key Requirements:Backend development experience with strong Java programming skills along with basic Python programming knowledgeDesign and develop microservices with Java spring boot that efficiently integrate AI capabilitiesExperience with microservices architecture, API design, and asynchronous programmingExperience in working with Databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data structuresSolid understanding of AWS services, particularly Bedrock, Lambda, and container servicesExperience with containerization technologies, Kubernetes and AWS serverlessUnderstanding of RAG systems with advanced retrieval mechanisms and vector database integrationUnderstanding of agentic workflows using technologies such as AWS Strands Framework, LangChain / LangGraphCreate scalable data processing pipelines for training data and document ingestionWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with comprehensive documentationCollaborate with multiple multi-functional team members including DevOps, product, and frontend engineersStay ahead of with the latest advancements in Data, LLMs and AI agent architectures9+ years of total software engineering experienceUnderstanding building RAG systems and working with vector databasesML/AI engineering, particularly with LLMs and generative AI applicationsAwareness about LangChain/LangGraph or similar LLM orchestration frameworksUnderstanding of ML model deployment, serving, and monitoring in production environmentsKnowledge of timely engineeringExcellent problem-solving abilities and system design skillsStrong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical conceptsAbility to learn new technologies quicklyQualifications (http://qualifications:) :Must have AWS certifications - Associate Architect / Developer / Data Engineer / AI TrackMust have familiarity with streaming architectures and real-time data processingMust have developed, delivered and operated microservices on AWSUnderstanding of ML/AI ethics and responsible AI developmentKnowledge of semantic search and embedding modelsWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
