Summary: Seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in C++ for train simulation software development and integration.
Minimum 3+ years C++ experience using Microsoft Visual Studio
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience driving software platform architecture projects
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and object-oriented programming skills
Ability to perform hardware integration testing
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of VBA, PHP, JavaScript, Perl, SQL, Python
REST API/Webservice Integration Knowledge
GIS Data Knowledge
Experience with Trello or Kanban boards
Experience in modeling and simulation
Job Responsibilities:
Act as technical customer liaison ensuring contractual compliance
Develop and configure train simulation software in C++
Troubleshoot and debug code using Microsoft Visual Studio
Lead hardware/software development and integration phases
Participate in device installation, testing, and corrections
Create software updates and test before deployment
Provide technical leadership to engineering team
Recommend efficiency and productivity enhancements
Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
