**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ As a Software Engineer, you will be playing a key role to deliver Caterpillar’s state-of-the-art Digital Salesforce projects from design, development, configuration to deployment.
+ This position will build a world class platform while delivering against the common department goals in line with CAT Digital Strategy.
+ The position manages the completion of its own work assignments and coordinates work with others. Based on past experiences and knowledge, the incumbent normally works independently with minimal management input and review of end results.
+ Drives application deployment focused around delivering business valuable features
+ Mentor and assist software engineers, providing technical assistance and direction as needed
+ Maintains high standards of quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits Identifies and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
+ Guide the team to develop a structured application/interface code, new program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides in a casual, flexible environment.
+ Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.
+ Will work along with other applications and Marketing Cloud Applications and build robust applications in Salesforce using as per business requirements
+ This position requires working onsite five days a week.
**Technical Skills**
+ Must have at least 5+ years of professional experience as Salesforce Developer preferably with more than one Salesforce Certification. Architect Certifications and Platform Developer 2 certifications are added advantage.
+ Solid experience working with clients across cloud transformation projects with focus on at least 3 of the Salesforce major platforms (Sales Cloud /CPQ / Service Cloud / Marketing Cloud / Communities)
+ Experience in holistic SFDC solutions with a customer 360-degree view, and personalized services, B2C Commerce & marketing would be advantageous
+ Proven experience with APEX, LWC, Visualforce pages, API programming, JavaScript, HTML, CSS or HTML5; in integration of 3rd party applications into Salesforce using both Web based technologies (Soap, Rest API) and integration / Middleware and Cl/CD automated jobs using Jenkins .
+ Solid understanding of relational databases, data governance, and management best practices.
+ Experience with common integration patterns used between legacy systems to integrate with Salesforce platform
+ Experience in Agile Methodology or SDLC practices; in delivering component, product, and/or enterprise architecture in public cloud and/or hybrid eco-systems
+ Understanding of enterprise data integration and analytical platforms
+ Experience with Tier 1 – Tier 3 support teams
**Functional Skills**
+ Extensive experience and domain knowledge in the manufacturing or automotive industries
+ Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new technologies, and be passionate in updated trends
+ Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
+ Excellent command of English with the ability to communicate professionally
