**Required Skills:**
Software Engineer- Product Responsibilities:
1. Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test software applications or systems for various products or software services.
2. Develop a strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, and/or systems.
3. Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming, and software engineering.
4. Produce high-quality code with good test coverage using modern abstractions and frameworks.
5. May be assigned to specific group focused on product or infrastructure.
6. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
7. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
8. Master internal development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.
9. In connection with these duties, may apply knowledge of the following: Coding in industry-standard languages like C, C++, Java, or C#
10. Building large-scale infrastructure applications
11. Creating web applications using Python, PHP, or Ruby
12. Relational databases and SQL
13. and Implementing web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a computer-related occupation. Experience must include 36 months involving the following:
15. 1. Coding in C, C++, Java, or C#
16. 2. Building large-scale infrastructure applications
17. 3. Creating web applications using Python, PHP, or Ruby
18. 4. Relational databases and SQL
19. 5. Implementing web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, or CSS
20. 6. Leveraging frameworks in React or React Native
21. 7. Conducting design and code reviews
22. 8. Android internals or frameworks services
23. 9. Building maintainable and testable codes bases including API design and unit testing techniques
24. 10. Multithreading programming and mobile memory management
25. 11. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)
26. 12. Building highly-scalable performant solutions
27. 13. Distributed systems including sharding, consistency, and availability
28. 14. Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS as evidenced by file manipulation, advanced commands, and shell scripting
29. 15. Data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human-computer interaction
30. 16. Applying algorithms and core computer science concepts to real world systems as evidenced by recognizing and matching patterns from different areas of computer science in production systems
31. 17. Building complex applications for the iPhone, iPad and other iOS based products using Objective-C, Swift, or C++ with the iOS SDK
32. 18. Client-server communication patterns including REST, GraphQL, or gRPC
33. 19. Dependency injection and scoped access to shared resources
34. 20. Machine learning, recommendation systems, computer vision, natural language processing, data mining, or distributed systems
35. 21. Hadoop, HBase, Pig, MapReduce, Sawzall, Bigtable, or Spark
36. 22. Building mobile and desktop web applications using JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6
37. 23. HTML or CSS including layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
38. 24. Browser APIs and optimizing front end performance of web-based applications
39. 25. Front end development of mobile and desktop applications using React, Vue, or Angular
40. 26. Building tools, linting and formatting of the codebase
41. 27. Working with code bases building micro services, REST APIs, and GraphQL
42. 28. Modelling data flows between systems to enable transactional workflows and upstream or downstream integrations
43. 29. Building secure software with auditable access controls and permissions
**Public Compensation:**
$228,236/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
