We are looking for a highly organized and proactive **Software Engineer** to join our team.
The Software Engineer is part of the Software Development team, based in Germany, and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to support the development of embedded software for automotive applications. The role focuses on the creation and maintenance of C programming, testing, and build environments, including IDEs and automation tools.
They are responsible for supporting software integration and test automation in line with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE. This includes managing technical environments, contributing to the development of strategies, and ensuring the team is trained in relevant tools and methods. The Software Engineer also plays a key role in analyzing software issues and supporting root cause investigations. They work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective software delivery.

**Technical Skills**
**Embedded Software Development**
Experience in configuring and integrating software components within Classic AUTOSAR architectures.
**Test Automation**
Proficiency with tools such as Polyspace, Tessy, and the Vector Toolchain (e.g., CANoe, vFlash, vTESTstudio) for automated testing in compliance with ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and ASPICE standards.
**Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)**
Hands-on experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
**Software Configuration Management**
Familiarity with version control and configuration tools such as PTC RV&S and GitLab.
**Error Analysis & Interface Diagnostics**
Strong analytical skills for identifying and isolating software issues through interface analysis and supporting resolution in collaboration with relevant software teams.
**Training & Tool Support**
Experience in training software teams on development and testing methodologies and tools, as well as evaluating their correct application and supporting problem-solving processes.
**Qualifications**
+ Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
+ Several years of professional experience in embedded software development within the automotive industry
+ Solid knowledge of C programming and model-based software development
+ Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and ASPICE
+ Experience working with AUTOSAR architectures
+ Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
+ Strong team player with analytical thinking and a structured approach to work
