Job Description
Join a dynamic team dedicated to developing cutting-edge satellite ground station software solutions. As a Software Engineer, you will work onsite to develop Java-based applications for satellite ground systems, utilizing the latest tools and technologies to handle the ever-increasing volume of data from satellites.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Java-based backend applications for satellite ground systems in both Windows and Linux environments.Utilize CI/CD pipelines, Artifactory, Gradle, and Maven to streamline development processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement robust server-side solutions.Modify and improve existing codebases for enhanced performance and scalability.Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.Participate in integration and project milestone completion under guidance from supervisors.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) with a minimum of four years of engineering experience.Proficiency in Java software development.Experience configuring builds using Gradle and Maven.Experience creating CI/CD jobs and configuring pipelines.Experience using Artifactory.Experience in the Command and Control Domain.Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Atlassian tools, specifically Jira and Bitbucket.Understanding of Conan package management.Experience scripting with Groovy.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
