Job Description A well-known Government supporting company in the Dayton OH area is seeking a Software Developer for a contract to hire opportunity. Seeking an individual whose experience is typically building scalable, testable backend systems using Java and messaging tools like ActiveMQ or ZeroMQ. They will follow Agile practices and software principles such as SOLID and TDD, and work across the full software lifecycle—from design to testing and deployment. This role involves using tools like Git, Jira, CI/CD, and Linux, and collaborating in cross-functional teams. This individual will be required to sit on sit 4-5 days/week and required to obtain a government security clearance.
