The Software Engineer IV will work with technical teams to create software solutions that use prevailing technologies and improve the customers’ experience while adhering to business and technical requirements. Develop, modify, enhance, and implement software systems designed to support business initiatives.
How You'll Make an Impact
Actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Designing and implementing new functionality that is testable and performant with limited oversight and guidance following best practices and approved code patterns.Operating within the various elements of Charter’s applicable technical systems and the impacts of their work on the organization’s outcomes.Understanding and applying different SDLC processes, particularly Agile and Scrum; participates fully in Scrum rituals.Understanding and applying applicable technology security and industry regulatory and legal compliance considerations.Identifying fixes to defects raised.Identifying system integration issues.Leading code review, debugging, and testing of software applications.Providing an LOE on a project / feature level.Developing software independently and write testable and performant code.Developing technical requirements and technical design documents.Supporting major deployments and resolve critical deployment issues.Collaborating with other team members to identify and solve technical problems.Responding to customer inquiries around the behavior of the developed software.Mentoring Software Developer I and Software Developer IIs.Working Conditions

The base pay for this position generally is between $80,300.00 and $142,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
