As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank Digital Platform Channels Engineering organization, you will be a key member of an agile team dedicated to designing and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Your role involves implementing critical technology solutions across diverse technical areas to support the firm's business objectives. You will join the Core UI Engineering team, which is responsible for developing the web platform for the Commercial and Investment Bank Digital Platform Channels Engineering organization using cutting-edge UI engineering technologies. Ideal candidates should have experience with ReactJS, Module Federation, ES Modules, and import maps, and will be instrumental in advancing the firm's technological capabilities across various business functions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceStrong proficiency in React and its core principles including component based architecture using React JS, enhancing code quality with TypeScript and solid understanding of JavaScriptHands-on experience with modern CSS techniques and frameworksKnowledge of Micro front-end architecture including Module FederationExperience with Module Federation, ES Modules, Import Maps, and Native Federation in the browserHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityDemonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
