**Process Overview:**
Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses.
**Job Description**
This team operates in the Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities area. The technology team within the Global Markets Macro Tech organization is responsible for the development, testing and on-going support of the systems required for the smooth running of this complex global commodities business. This position is specifically for executing the development / feature enhancement efforts. GBS tech team will work in close collaboration with the global teams spread across PACRIM, EMEA and AMRS. This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes, ensuring the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved. Key responsibilities include establishing a test and automation strategy, creating common test frameworks, defining and managing test processes including test data generation, defect management and reporting. Job expectations include understanding and implementing internal/external mandate, ensuring compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments, and manages traceability.
The teams use agile development with varying levels of maturity amongst them. India team is distributed across Chennai, Mumbai, Gift and the global team across London and New York. The role would require a close engagement with stakeholders in Global technology function.This job needs highly motivated and skilled Techno-Functional Analyst with having knowledge on OOPs concepts to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both functional business processes and technical development processes, enabling them to design, implement, and optimize solutions that meet organizational needs.
Successful candidate is expected to have in-depth knowledge of Global Markets Products and direct experience in Trading and Market Risk domains and is able to bridge gap between on-shore business expectation and off-shore performance and delivery.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technicalspecifications.
+ Design and develop scalable, efficient, and maintainable Python-based solutions to meet business needs.
+ Build automation scripts, tools, and workflows to optimize business processes.
+ Work with large datasets, perform data analysis, and integrate data from multiple sources.
+ Create and execute test cases to ensure the quality of deliverables.
+ Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and challenges.
+ Liaise with project managers and development leads on ensuring BAU/INIT items are integrated and prioritized within the project teams.
**Requirements:**
**Education:** Bachelors/Master’sdegree in computer science or engineering or similar
**Certifications (if any):** AI/ML is good to have
**Experience Range:** 8 to 12 years of experience
**Foundational Skills:**
+ Hands on experience in server side programming using Python.
+ Strong exposure to SQL server database or any other object based or RDBMS systems.
+ Good understanding of OOPSconcepts
+ Strong interpersonal skills and experienced in communicating complex solutions with both technical and Business users.
+ Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment
+ Exposure to threading and messaging services will be an additional value-add
+ Experience in people management
+ Understanding of Qz and Fixed Income Trading Business is preferable.
+ Experience with automation tools and frameworks.
+ Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
+ Stakeholder Management
**Desired Skills:**
+ Development experience in a large scale global software deployment
+ Experience of Rates trading within Fixed Income would be very advantageous
