RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete development assignments on time with an appropriate level of quality to support project efforts.Participate in a digital technology project from concept to implementation, and through all phases of the software development lifecycleCreate work estimates based on technology concepts and requirements documentation.Support project releases.

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years experience designing and implementing applications4+ years of combined software/application development experience in Java, Kotlin and AndroidExcellent written and oral communication skillsDegree in Computer Science or related degree from an accredited university or four years equivalent development experience.Customer-focused mindset, taking pride in creating an informative data-driven journeyAbility to understand requirements and translate them to efficient code.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Strong understanding of Java, Kotlin, and Android ecosystemPast experience in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, LiveData, all mobile UI fundamentals, from layout to animations, and Restful API integration is expectedExperience in Unit testing and functional testing libraries like Mockito, EspressoExperience with distributed systems, caching, and persistence solutions. Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues under time pressureExperience building localized, multi-tenant solutionsEnthusiasm for automated testingA Strong experience with Data Structures and Multi-Threading. Understanding of architectural patterns such as MVI, MVP and MVVM, application design patterns – Gang of Four patternsUnderstanding of build systems such as Gradle, Jenkins
