Sam's Club Technology Sam’s Club is our membership warehouse club, the business model that offers our members quality products at an exceptional value unmatched by traditional retail. Sam’s Club offers a highly curated assortment of items, in addition to building and leading technologies and services like Scan & Go, Club Pickup and home delivery service in select markets. Sam’s Club also offers speciality services, including travel, auto buying, pharmacy, optical, hearing aid centres, tire and battery centres and a portfolio of business operations support services.

What you'll do:

•    Through this role you’ll have an opportunity to participate in the design, development and support of Membership On Cloud.

•    You will be responsible for coding, unit testing, building high performance and scalable Planning/Budgeting/Forecastingsolutions that meet the needs of finance business users across multiple segments and functional areas in Sam's Club

•    You’ll also get to collaborate with team members to develop best practices and analyse requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing and/or testing to help rollout new solutions as well as improve existing ones.

•    You will work with software engineers & architects, product/program managers, cross-functional teams and finance teams in an agile manner to build and release product features that caters to business requirements. 

•    You’ll need to troubleshoot coding issues quickly, approach problems creatively and apply technology to solve business challenges

•    You may contribute to design and architecture of solutions, create proof of concepts for operation excellence of Membership lifecycle by seeking ways to improve effectiveness of solutions, and work to remove performance impacting barriers thus increasing efficiency of our solutions

•    Ensure timely completion of projects, and delivery of critical and measurable project objectives, and communicate effectively to all stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information.

•    Develop and maintain technical documentation (including design specifications, guides, and diagrams).

•    You will support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all team associates are confident in the use of software applications

•    Ensure compliance with security practices/guidelines,and relevant technology standards, promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

What you'll bring:

•    B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/M.S.from a reputed institution with around 4-6 years of IT experience and minimum 2-3 years

•    Experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions and working with global teams

•    Experience in analysing and translating business requirements to technical requirements, robust architecture and good design.

•    Flexibility in adopting to new areas of work, domain and technical competencies. 

•    Good analytical and problem-solving skills

•    Good written and verbal communication skills

•    Nice to have: Knowledge in Java, SQL and No-SQL.

•    Added advantage: Azure & Azure services, GCP
