How will you make an impact in this role?

You’ll be part of the Digital Payments Engineering team whose mandate is to develop new products and platforms for American Express customers. Digital Payments Engineering’s aim is to build interactive experiences at all touch points of a consumer's journey whether before, at, or after the time of purchase. The products will range from new payment vehicles and partnerships with other payment entities to interactive mobile experiences.  

Your responsibilities will include

Perform hands-on architecture, design, development, and testing of EMV/AEIPS Payment Applications on JavaCard or Host Card Emulation EnvironmentsWork with external testing labs to get the developed payment product certifiedEngage in product innovation within Mobile Payment domainServe as a member of an agile team that drives user story analysis and elaboration, designs and develops software applications, and tests and builds automation toolsUtilize best-of-breed technologies to build a layered, component-based, service-oriented architecture over existing American Express technologiesBe highly motivated and maintain a positive, “can-do” attitude in a fast moving environment

Minimum Qualification 

Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or 5+ years of equivalent experience in related disciplinesHands on Application development experience within JavaCard/HCE domain.Working experience with cryptographic algorithms like 3DES, AES, RSA, ECC etcDeep understanding of Global Platform card content management and key management processesKnowledge of EMV Common Personalization Specification and processesNice to have working knowledge of different Key Management principles and associated processesNice to have some Android and iOS development exposure in light of Payment processingDemonstrated technical capabilities and ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a range of stakeholdersExperience working in high-performing development teams using agile methodologies and toolsExperience in multi-threaded programming

Proven record of design and development of mobile applications in an Enterprise setting is a plus
