Join Guidewire as a Software Engineer III and help build the next generation of analytics and machine learning operationalization tools for the insurance industry. Job Description
What you'll doBuild impactful, performant, and scalable applications and tools for analytics and ML operationalization on the Guidewire Predict Platform.
Write production-quality code and lead by example, setting high standards for technical excellence.
Collaborate with product management and user experience teams to deliver highly usable and insightful features.
Champion innovative software development methodologies and best practices across the platform.
Deliver products that achieve quantified business outcomes for customers, ensuring transparency, communication, and consistent, high-quality delivery.
Contribute to Guidewire’s wider mission by supporting operational excellence, transformative innovation, and customer success in the insurance industry.

What you’ll bringRequired
Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
3 to 5 years’ experience developing complex applications.
Proficient with data processing technologies such as Spark (Scala experience is a plus).
Expertise with .Net (C#) or other object-oriented languages.
Experience with AWS (S3, SQS, Redshift), Kubernetes, and Docker.
Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
Experience with Python.
In-depth knowledge of databases, SQL, and NoSQL, particularly SQL Server and MongoDB.
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as TeamCity.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/Typescript is a plus.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience with AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms, and data-driven product development.
Familiarity with the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
