As a Software Engineer II, you will build and operate production‑grade software that supports complex business workflows at scale, with a focus on enabling and supporting supply chain teams through reliable and efficient technology solutions. You will own features from design through production, collaborating with product managers and senior engineers to deliver secure, performant, and well tested solutions. This role focuses on writing clean and maintainable code, improving system reliability, and applying modern engineering practices while continuously learning and contributing to strong engineering standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: 

Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that meet customer requirements while ensuring performance, availability, security, and scalabilityCollaborate with product managers and senior engineers to translate requirements into well defined technical designs and implementationsWrite clean, reusable, and well tested code, improving quality through code reviews and unit, integration, and acceptance testingOptimize, refactor, and troubleshoot systems in production to improve performance, reliability, and maintainabilityCreate and maintain clear technical documentation to support long term maintainability and knowledge sharingEstimate development effort, identify dependencies, and deliver solutions for complex technical requirementsStay current with emerging technologies and continuously apply and refine engineering best practicesMentor and learn from other engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharingContribute to the evolution of engineering standards, lifecycle practices, and team ways of workingPerform other related duties as needed based on team and regional requirements

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required: 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IS, MIS, or other technology degree or minimum 4 years of equivalent work experience and high school diplomaMinimum 3 years of experience developing and implementing commercial software Experience creating applications and features in. C#, .NET stack Experience with database objects in relational databases (ex. MS SQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (ex. MongoDB, Elastic, Cosmos) Experience with HTTP and REST architecture Experience with unit, integration, and acceptance testing Experience with data streaming and messaging architecture and frameworks (ex. Kafka, RabbitMQ, ESB) Experience with version control systems (ex. GIT, GitHub, TFS, etc.) Experience with CI/CD continuous integration / continuous deployment practices 

 

Preferred: 

Experience building cloud native applications and services (ex. Azure, AWS, GCP) Familiarity with RPA Platforms (UiPath, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere, MS Power Automate) General understanding of AI/ML concepts, including prompting  Experience in system integration projects or global projects Experience with transportation, logistics, or business systems
