As a **Software Engineer II** , you will build and operate production‑grade software that supports complex business workflows at scale, with a focus on enabling and supporting supply chain teams through reliable and efficient technology solutions. You will own features from design through production, collaborating with product managers and senior engineers to deliver secure, performant, and well tested solutions. This role focuses on writing clean and maintainable code, improving system reliability, and applying modern engineering practices while continuously learning and contributing to strong engineering standards.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that meet customer requirements while ensuring performance, availability, security, and scalability
+ Collaborate with product managers and senior engineers to translate requirements into well defined technical designs and implementations
+ Write clean, reusable, and well tested code, improving quality through code reviews and unit, integration, and acceptance testing
+ Optimize, refactor, and troubleshoot systems in production to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
+ Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support long term maintainability and knowledge sharing
+ Estimate development effort, identify dependencies, and deliver solutions for complex technical requirements
+ Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously apply and refine engineering best practices
+ Mentor and learn from other engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
+ Contribute to the evolution of engineering standards, lifecycle practices, and team ways of working
+ Perform other related duties as needed based on team and regional requirements
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IS, MIS, or other technology degree or minimum 4 years of equivalent work experience and high school diploma
+ Minimum3 yearsof experience developing and implementing commercial software
+ Experience creating applications and features in. C#, .NETstack
+ Experience with database objects in relational databases (ex. MS SQL, Oracle)andnon-relational databases (ex. MongoDB, Elastic, Cosmos)
+ Experience with HTTP and REST architecture
+ Experience with unit, integration, and acceptance testing
+ Experience with data streaming and messaging architecture and frameworks (ex. Kafka, RabbitMQ, ESB)
+ Experience with version control systems (ex. GIT, GitHub, TFS, etc.)
+ Experience with CI/CD continuous integration / continuous deployment practices
Preferred:
+ Experience building cloud native applications and services (ex. Azure, AWS, GCP)
+ Familiarity withRPA Platforms (UiPath,BluePrism, Automation Anywhere, MS Power Automate)
+ General understanding of AI/ML concepts, includingprompting
+ Experience in system integration projects or global projects
+ Experience with transportation, logistics, or business systems
