Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.
Bank of America is seeking a CI/CD Automation Engineer with supporting ancillary infrastructure management skillsets for a large Agile development program. The
candidate will be primarily focused on implementing and supporting CI/CD automation for the program.
Secondarily, the candidate will support on-prem infrastructure, remediate vulnerabilities, and maintain cloud-based environments.
Responsibilities:
Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Maintain high standards of software quality as a control point for code delivery
Understand and troubleshoot complex CI and CD automation implementations
Drive developers to adopt best-practices
Package and support deployment of releases
Develop, refine, and tune integrations between Applications
Required Qualifications:
7+ years in Information Technology
5+ years developing, implementing, supporting CI and/or CD solutions.
Experience with source control management systems and code-branching strategies is required.
Experience with one or more scripting or low-level programming language required.
Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum.
Must possess strong analytical, research, technical, and problem-solving capabilities, and a demonstrated ability to broadly apply these skills.
Must be autonomous/self-starter.
Work efforts must be thorough and focused with strong attention to detail.
Highly professional with strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Proficiency in one of the following disciplines: Salesforce or Unix-based Operating Systems.
Solid grasp of SSH & TLS concepts (SSH keys, certificates, etc).
Desired Qualifications:
Exposure to enterprise monitoring technologies (Splunk, App Dynamics) is a plus.
Maintain high standards of software quality as a control point for code delivery.
Possess a knowledge of enterprise monitoring technologies, i.e. Splunk, Aternity, App Dynamics, Sitescope, etc.
General knowledge of Cloud based security and work with Security and Risk staff to ensure application is secure and free of vulnerabilities
Package and support deployment of releases.
Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
Experience with one or more scripting or low-level programming language is required (Python is preferred).
Experience developing complex build/deployment solutions using tools such as: Jenkins, Artifactory, CodeScan, Ansible Automation Platform, ANT, XLR, and Octane are preferred.
