Job responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with a focus on secure, stable applicationsWrites high-quality production code using at least one programming languageDesigns, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systemsApplies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle to improve automation and valueGathers, analyzes, and synthesizes data to identify problems and support decision-makingLearns and applies system processes and methodologies for secure, stable code and systems

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experienceProficient in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Terraform, Kafka, Python, and database technologiesPractical experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stabilitySkilled in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate environments using modern programming and database querying languagesDemonstrated ability to write code in one or more programming languagesKnowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and its application in project deliveryFamiliarity with agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Familiarity with modern front-end technologiesExposure to cloud technologiesExperience with Snowflake or Databricks
