Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Responsibilities:

Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirementsUtilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirementsPerforms Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activitiesContributes to story refinement and definition of requirementsParticipates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycleContributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying causePerforms spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

Required Qualifications

5+ years’ experience leading technical projects with people process impacts through full change management lifecycleSelf-starter, able to work in situations not well defined and develop project team routines and structureProven success working in matrixed environments including multiple business, operations, technology and compliance partnersHighly effective communication and collaboration in meetings and informal channels, including tailoring messages based on team or executive audience.  This includes clear and concise written communications.Strong cross-team coordination, influence and negotiation skillsExperience with Agile software delivery methodologies and use of Jira; Waterfall knowledge also beneficialStrong command of MS Office and Webex meeting facilitation

PLANNING:

Create consolidated test plan(s) for releases to include 360-view of all testing related activities, tasks and deliverables.Identify test teams including test leads for each test cycle/phaseConsolidate all information from test teams for a consolidated view of testing for the initiativeReview consolidate test plan as required with appropriate partiesCoordinate cross-application test scenario planningResolve discrepancies and issues related to cross application testing effortsFacilitate communications between test teamsSchedule/coordinate test environmentsCoordinate test preparation activities including  test case/script development, identification of interdependencies, test scheduling, test condition definitions upstream/downstream, etc. Experience managing projects, coaching cross-functional team or leading iterative development teams.

EXECUTION:

Test ExecutionManage testing throughout all test cycles/phases (i.e., unit, CIT, SIT, Performance, UAT, Dress Rehearsal and Production Certification) to ensure completion of all test deliverablesProvide consolidated test execution status for the initiativeAct as central communication point for testingEscalate risks/ issues identified during testing to appropriate partiesCommunicate test condition changes to application test leads (e.g., changes to timeframes, environment changes/issues, etc. )Create consolidated defect reportingLead cross team defect management meeting if requiredMonitor each test team’s defect status and backlog – escalate risk areas as appropriateProvide execution and defect status, including metrics, reporting as requiredDocument and ensure Entry/Exit criteria for each test cycle/phase is completed

PROJECT CLOSURE:

Signoffs, artifacts, etc. in Discovery and recorded, appropriately, for auditCoordinate production certification activities, if requiredEnsure test survey is completed and results communicated to appropriate partiesSummarize test efforts for release(s), including lessons learnedStrong communication and facilitation skillsExperience building strong relationships across the organizationDemonstrated leadership with proven ability to motivate, negotiate and resolve conflictDemonstrated use of diplomacy, tact and composure in high-pressure situation

Desired Qualifications

Solid understanding of web technologies, architecture and complex systems.Previous Bank of America experience, especially with leading projects using enterprise change standards processes and tools.Banking industry experience with AML and/or treasury and markets products and servicesCertifications in SAFE Agile and Project Management
