Software Engineer II, ITC
**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR** As a Software Engineer II – Time & Absence, you will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering technical solutions for UKG Pro Workforce Management. In this role, you’ll take ownership of complex tasks, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure high-quality implementations that meet evolving business needs. You will work independently while collaborating closely with senior engineers, leads, and cross-functional teams. This position offers the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise, mentor junior engineers, and drive impactful outcomes across global systems. **WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON** + Global Impact: Collaborate on projects spanning APAC, EMEA, Greater China, and the Americas—your work will shape workforce management worldwide. + Trusted Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to client project teams, building strong relationships and driving satisfaction. + Mentoring & Leadership: Share your expertise by guiding team members on advanced modules and solutioning. + Build & Configuration: Lead the design and configuration of UKG Pro Time & Absence systems, ensuring solutions meet business needs and follow best practices. + Testing Excellence: Support functional, integration, and UAT testing phases to guarantee flawless delivery. + Best Practices & Innovation: Stay ahead of UKG Pro releases, advocate for process optimization, and recommend proactive improvements. + Effective Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear visuals, diagrams, and process flows for diverse stakeholders. + Documentation: Capture and validate business requirements, creating detailed technical specifications for implementation teams. + Systems & Tools: Work with UKG PRO Workforce Management (formally Dimensions), Jira, ServiceNow, Workday, and apply Agile methodology to deliver efficiently. + Issue Resolution: Coordinate with development and operations teams to resolve configuration, integration, and reporting challenges. **WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH** + Your agile squad team members to deliver high-quality solutions. + Lead and Manager to ensure work is completed on time and meets expectations. + Cross-product engineers and integration teams to deliver seamless experiences. + Internal teams across multiple time zones and regions, building global impact. **WHAT YOU BRING** + 3+ years of relevant work experience + Knowledge of UKG Pro Time & Attendance systems, ideally at a global level. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and organization. + Ability to work collaboratively in Agile frameworks, partnering with product owners and engineers. + Self-starter mindset with a passion for learning and delivering results. + Experience with Boomi integrations a plus.
