The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world. + Design, develop, and maintain backend services and automation tools using Java/Go/Kotlin, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance. + Collaborate with peers to understand requirements needs and translate them into user-friendly solutions. + Build and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of software. + Contribute to the team's technical documentation and knowledge sharing efforts, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot and resolve issues. + Contribute to the team's technical documentation and knowledge sharing efforts, and identify and address technical debt within the team's codebase and systems.
