Software Engineer I

Acts as 3rd tier support for AC&M products, representing R&D in investigating and supporting products in the field.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

0–2 years of experience (entry-level)

Proficiency with C# or similar programming language

Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases

Knowledge of networking concepts

Ability to work on-site in Lafayette, CO (4 days per week, 1 day remote)

Preferred Skills

Experience with non-relational databases such as MongoDB

Experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems

Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or Azure)

Experience using Active Directory for authentication and authorization

Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Azure

Responsibilities

Investigate field issues related to AC&M products, determine root causes, and provide workaround procedures

Act as conduit between R&D and customers, ensuring product feedback and support delivery

Travel to customer sites for installs, upgrades, and troubleshooting

Support new product installations and upgrades in customer environments

Maintain cloud-based demo site used for sales and training

Apply software development skills to address and resolve field issues

Pay: 33-45

Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
