Overview of the Job:

As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and supporting IT solutions using Agile and DevOps practices. Your primary focus will be on using multiple development platforms, such as MS Azure, AWS, and Web, to deliver IT solutions that align with business objectives. You will work within Development Teams, adding value to the business through sprint backlogs. Collaborating closely with Operations Engineers, you will enhance the flow between Product, Development and Operations, enabling faster delivery of value.

Your Team:

This role will report to the Purchases and Financial Services IT Director based in Cincinnati. Working in the IT team in P&G Global Business Services, you will be part of a growing team of Software Engineers leading innovation for our internal users across the globe.

How Success Looks Like: Achieving success metrics that reflect efficient work processes and the ability to deliver high-quality IT solutionsMeeting time-specific success metrics that demonstrate consistent improvement and timely delivery of IT solutionsContinuously challenging yourself to reach peak performance and personal growth as a Software EngineerJob Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement software solutions using PHP and Laravel, ensuring high performance in the solutions.Work within Microsoft Azure environments, using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to orchestrate containerized applications.Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in compliance with enterprise requirements.Ensure the entire stack is crafted and built for speed and scalability.Maintain code integrity and organization, including data security and privacy compliance.Solve, test, and maintain the core product software to optimize functionality and address issues promptly.

Job Qualifications

Role Requirements:Proven knowledge and experience in software development using PHP and Laravel.Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including some experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservice architectures, and container technologies.Strong understanding of the full software development life cycle, particularly in an agile dev/ops.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic and exciting environment.Preferred Skills:Certifications in Azure or Kubernetes are highly desirable.Experience in developing enterprise-level applications and cloud solutions.About us
