$74.33 to $78.30 per hour- CO

$75.51 to $79.54 per hour- AL

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Shape the Digital Backbone of National Defense

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled and security-cleared Software Engineer – Developer to support mission-critical aerospace and defense systems. Join a team working on the cutting edge of missile defense technology, contributing to the safety and security of the United States and its allies.

What You’ll Do

As a key contributor to a high-impact national defense program, you will:

Design and develop Java-based mathematical algorithms for command and control systems

Support the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, and issue resolution

Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software

Develop and refine software requirements and system architecture

Execute and document integration and testing activities

Work 100% onsite in a secure, collaborative environment

Travel domestically up to 10% as needed

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

9+ years of engineering experience (or 7+ with a Master’s, 4+ with a PhD)

Proficiency in Java or Java Spring

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with missile defense or aerospace systems

Background in systems integration and test processes

Exposure to defense industry standards and secure development practices

Pay Details: $74.33 to $78.30 per hour
