The key responsibilities of thisSoftware Engineer (Data Systems)include, but are not limited to: + Analyze, evaluate, and document current MRP system processes and data flows. + Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement within the MRP and broader business practices. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Production, IT, Finance) to gather requirements and understand business needs. + Develop and propose data-driven solutions and enhancements to improve system performance, data quality, and user experience. + Design and implement tools, dashboards, and automated reports to support decision-making. + Test and validate new processes or system modifications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. + Prepare clear technical documentation and user guidelines. + Train team members on new features, processes, or best practices related to the MRP system.
