The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a Software Engineer, Developer, or Tester (Associate, Experienced, or Senior) to join the Technical Excellence Center team located in Mesa, AZ. You will be part of the Vertical Lift Division within Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering.
As a full-time Software Engineer, you will develop high-quality software solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable products. Play a key role in the testing process to ensure our deliverables meet the highest standards.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate, Experienced, and Senior Software Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teams to understand software requirements and design objectives
Propose, design, and implement software solutions
Develop, document, and maintain software architecture, requirements, designs, code, and automated tests
Participate in code reviews and design discussions, contributing to continuous improvement
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
1 plus year of experience in programming languages like Python, C, C++, C#, Rust, Java, or Ada
1 plus year of experience in software development, testing, or any part of the software lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to research and solve fundamental problems
Experience leading complex software projects
Skills in developing, documenting, and maintaining software architectures, code, designs, and automated tests
Ability to break down functional requirements into well-defined tasks
Willingness to learn new skills through on-the-job training and experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Associate: $86,700.00 - $117,300.00
Summary pay range for Experienced: $107,100.00 - $144,900.00.
Summary pay range for Senior: $127,500.00 - $172,500.00.
