Software Engineer

 

Ecolab is looking for a Software Engineer to enhance, maintain and support business application platforms in the Order to Cash (OTC) space. The Software Engineer will apply engineering and programming best practices to analyze and support software solutions that meet business needs. Works directly with peers in digital technology organization to resolve support issues.  Self-motivated professional, able to function independently and within a team structure.

What You Will Do:

Provide technical support for various business application platforms supporting Ecolab GBS Order to Cash capabilitiesProvide analysis needed to resolve support issues, optimize system performance and ensure the availability, performance and application security of critical OTC business platformsCollaborate with technology peers and third-party vendor support teams on support issues and solutions to meet business needsAssist the team to drive solutions to support issues to successful completion within the support SLA

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Engineering or MIS) or equivalent work experienceMinimum 3 years’ experience in Information TechnologyMinimum 1 years’ experience in software installation, upgrades, coding, performance tuning, support and administrationExperience working with third-party support teamsAble to act independently, seeking guidance and advice as appropriate

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP integrated business applicationsExperience with SaaS solutionsExperience with application and server monitoring toolsExperience developing jobs in scheduling software UC4/Automic Automation or similar scheduling toolExperience with ServiceNowKnowledge of security, database, hardware, networks and cloud & virtualization concepts
