Position Summary

As a member of our Core Software R&D team you will play a key role in the development of sophisticated robotic and automation software for use in laboratories around the world. The software enables users to define, run and supervise complex scientific workflows involving robots and laboratory hardware combined with real-time data-driven decision making.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop software for laboratory automation applications with an emphasis on quality, security, performance, and scalabilityCollaborate with product owners and customers to identify and refine requirements for new featuresWork with our quality assurance, documentation, training and service teams to deliver an excellent customer experience

Requirements5+ years in software development3+ years developing Windows based applications and services (optional but preferred) using C#Experience with RESTful APIs using ASP.NET and C#Experience with RabbitMQ and/or MQTTExperience with OAuth 2.0 & OIDCExperience with PostgreSQL and/or MS SQL databases, including administration and app developmentExperience in building back-end business logic with multi-threadingFamiliarity in developing web applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js is encouraged but not mandatoryFamiliarity with container technologies like Kubernetes and/or Docker is encouraged but not mandatory

EducationBachelor's Degree in IT Technology or a College Degree with equivalent experience

Skills and AttributesDeep understanding of object-oriented programming, software industry methodologies including SOLID and developing code with unit testsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentProven ability to successfully implement complex projectsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenA passion for continuous learning and improvement
