**The Opportunity**
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a global team enabling Global Manufacturing & Supply, Digital Innovation, and AI-driven initiatives. This is a hands-on role focused on building scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications using modern front-end technologies.
You’ll work with frameworks such as **React, Angular, and Next.js** , contribute to UI architecture design, implement robust testing practices, and ensure seamless integration through CI/CD. Your work will directly support the creation of impactful digital solutions used across Takeda worldwide.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable front-end applications using **React** , **Angular** , and **Next.js**
+ Implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces aligned with best UX/UI practices.
+ Integrate front-end components with backend services using RESTful APIs and modern web standards.
+ Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and E2E testing frameworks.
+ Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery of front-end applications.
+ Apply web security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance across platforms.
+ Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and backend teams to refine features and deliver seamless user experiences.
+ Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.
+ Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure applications run smoothly across browsers and devices.
**What We’re Looking For**
+ **4+ years of experience** in front-end software development.
+ Strong expertise in **React, Angular,** and **Next.js** .
+ Experience with **Git** for version control and collaborative development.
+ Solid understanding of unit testing, **E2E testing** , and test automation practices.
+ Hands-on experience with **CI/CD pipelines** and modern DevOps workflows.
+ Knowledge of **web security principles** and secure coding best practices.
+ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
**Nice to Have**
+ Experience with **Vue.js and/or TypeScript** is valued
