As a Software Engineer you will perform a variety of assignments including system requirements analysis, architecture design, and integration of systems. Responsibilities
Support full life cycle engineering design and development activitiesDevelop system requirements specification for the overall system including verification plansGenerate overall system architecture to satisfy functional, reliability, and safety requirementsExecute software engineering tasks – including (but not limited to) requirements analysis, systems modeling (SYSML), architecture design, trade studies, design review support, integration planning, test, verification, risk management, and engineering analysis.Serve as a resource to others within the work group, department, and the organization.Effectively communicate with program managers, planners, and technicians.Interface with internal and external customers and suppliersDrive tasks to completion independently.Who We Are

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Software, or similar) with 2 or more years related experience or master’s degree in engineering with 1 or more years related experience.Hardware and software integration experienceC/C , Python, and/or Java programming ExperienceExperience with CAN bus systems (J1939, CANopen, etc…)Experience with design and/or implementation of controls, especially related to vehicle controls/diagnostics/communicationHands on mechanical ability/understanding of vehicle systemsExperience with computer architecture and networkingExperience in a DoD environment and model-based systems engineering preferred.Effective technical writing and presentation skills.A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).How We Care
