Software Engineer
**Your Challenge** As a Software/Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software and firmware for electronic modules and components used in Grooming & Beauty appliances. You will transform innovative concepts into reliable, user-friendly products that deliver exceptional value to our customers. Working closely with on-site teams and offshore development partners, you will design, verify, and validate electronic systems and ensure accurate technical documentation. You will collaborate with project managers, system engineers, function development engineers, application research specialists, and electronic/mechatronic engineers to create competitive and attractive products. **Key Responsibilities** + Design and develop software and firmware for Grooming & Beauty products. + Translate technical requirements into product concepts and electronic software designs. + Manage product software requirements, lead DFMEA activities, and apply V-model methodology. + Ensure proper documentation and compliance with software and firmware development processes. + Design and test software modules and firmware (including simulations) to ensure reliability, efficiency, and intuitive user interfaces. + Communicate design boundaries and architecture considerations within the software platform roadmap. + Prepare personal schedules, report progress, and contribute to overall project planning. + Maintain oversight of complete appliance development when required. + Estimate development effort and runtime resources. + Lead software platform localization and participate in key component selection. **Your Team** You will join a passionate and diverse Grooming & Beauty Engineering team that values collaboration, innovation, and excellence. We foster an inclusive work environment and celebrate success together. **What We Are Looking For** + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent. + 5–10 years of experience in electronics/software and firmware product development. + Proven experience developing software for high-volume consumer products, including: + Battery charging systems + Step-down & step-up converters + SMPS + MCU firmware + UI/UX interface development + AI applications + Strong understanding of modern software engineering tools, methods, and processes. + Experience with CFD analysis, FEA (Ansys), or similar analytical tools. + Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international teams. + Excellent communication skills and a proactive, consumer-quality-focused mindset. + Technical expertise with the ability to develop and defend innovative ideas. **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 4 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
