JOB TITLE: Software Engineer LOCATION: Irving, TX (hybrid role, may work from home) DUTIES: Build and maintain web applications; develop new user-facing features using React and JavaScript; build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use; understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements; translate designs and wireframes into high quality code; collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features; work on DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model; understand React.js and its core principles; work on popular React.js workflows (Flux or Redux) and data structure libraries; work with RESTful APIs, code versioning tools such as Git and SVN, modern front-end build pipelines and tools, and common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a software engineer, software/applications developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 2 years in building and maintaining web applications using React JS, Angular JS, JavaScript, and Agile methodology including Scrum ceremonies; and 2 years in CSS and State management, SEO optimization, RESTful APIs, and writing unit test cases.
