**Job Title- Software Engineer** **Job Location- Remote- Toronto, Canada** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and lead infrastructure automation, cloud provisioning, and system administration efforts in a secure, enterprise-grade environment. This role requires deep expertise in AWS services, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux systems, with a strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA. **In this role, you will** Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using **GitHub Actions.** Develop and maintain infrastructure using **AWS CloudFormation and Serverless Framework** . Configure and manage **AWS API Gateway, S3 buckets, and S3 archival strategies** . Automate system provisioning and configuration using **Packer** and **Ansible.** Support and integrate with **Atlassian tools** such as **JIRA** and **OpsGenie** for incident and project management. Lead and execute **AWS data migration** strategies across environments. Administer and optimize **Linux systems** in cloud and hybrid environments. Ensure systems and processes comply with **HIPAA** and other regulatory standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-scale deployments and operations. **What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)** 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation. Strong hands-on experience with **AWS services** , including CloudFormation, API Gateway, S3, and Serverless. Proficiency in **GitHub Actions, Packer, and Ansible** . Solid understanding of **Linux system administration** . Experience working in **enterprise organizations** with complex infrastructure. Familiarity with **HIPAA compliance** and secure cloud architecture. Experience with **Atlassian tools** (JIRA, OpsGenie) for agile and incident workflows. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. **Preferred skills: what will help you stand out** AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer). Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP). Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack).
