Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description

This role involves creating a software design from system requirements and developing code to meet planned schedules. The candidate will perform unit and integration testing to ensure correct functionality, adhering to established CMMI work procedures and rigorous coding standards. The position entails designing, coding, testing, integrating, and documenting software of high complexity.

Essential SkillsProficiency in C, Python, and Java.Experience with Linux and embedded systems.STEM degree with 3-4 years of relevant experience.Low-level, embedded experience.
Additional Skills & QualificationsOS development and server provisioning.Deployment experience on RHEL systems.Experience in radio frequency engineering, software-defined radio, and RF communications.Knowledge of link-level development and containerization in Linux.Experience with virtualization or virtual machines.
Work Environment

This is a full-time onsite role with potential 9/80 scheduling and flexibility around core hours. The work involves high reliability systems that have a direct impact on saving lives.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Annapolis, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
