Software Test EngineerAbout the Role

Join our dynamic engineering team to develop cutting-edge software and hardware solutions for testing communication electronics and equipment. You’ll work closely with customers to understand requirements and define automated test scenarios that ensure reliability and performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems and has a strong foundation in both hardware and software testing.

Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze OEM documentation, schematics, and unit-under-test (UUT) behavior to define test requirementsAssist in designing wiring harnesses and accessories, including schematics, wire lists, and BOMsSource components and materials for test setupsDevelop automated test programs to apply stimuli and measure UUT outputsUse revision control tools to manage source code and documentationExecute manual and automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and reliabilityInvestigate test results to identify root causes of failuresCollaborate with customers and internal teams as neededRequired QualificationsCurrent clearance or ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance3+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (C#, C++, or similar)Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters)Ability to interpret electronic schematics and assembly drawingsStrong experience in software development and automated testingExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesUnderstanding of networking protocols like MESH and ADHOCPreferred QualificationsExperience with tactical or airborne radio logisticsProficiency in MATLAB and LabVIEWKnowledge of RF measurements and software-defined architecturesStrong analytical skills and experience with root cause analysisAbility to create technical documentation (test plans, validation reports, etc.)Familiarity with system internals and remote radio programming

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $48.00/hr.
