The Cloud & Data Hosting (C&DH) organization within C-TIES represents the Digital Center of Excellence (CoE) for cloud infrastructure capabilities, providing foundational public and private cloud services to all business lines, globally across Pfizer. CNSS is a high-performing team, focused on delivering secure, compliant, and automated cloud solutions.
We are seeking a Software Engineer in the Hosting Delivery team with development coding skills, writing automated test cases and an accountable DevOps mindset. This role provides an exciting opportunity to innovate with our clients in public and private clouds.

As a Software Engineer in C&DH, you’ll be entrusted with access to Pfizer’s cloud-based development and production environments. This role demands not only technical excellence, but also the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and operational discipline.
What You’ll Do:
Automate at Scale
Design and implement intelligent self-service automation for resource provisioning and lifecycle management (Operational Automations) across AWS, Azure, and vSphere.
Code with Purpose
Write clean, efficient code that integrates infrastructure with Pfizer’s core digital systems—ITSM, IPAM, Backup, and Monitoring—ensuring seamless operations.
Accelerate with AI
Leverage AI tools to generate high-quality, production-ready code faster. Use generative AI to prototype, test, and deploy solutions that drive real business value.
Troubleshoot Like a Pro
Dive deep into complex issues, debug delivery automation, and resolve incidents with precision—whether flagged by proactive monitoring or reported by users.
Support What You Build
Provide L4 support for automation-related incidents, acting as a trusted expert and problem-solver.
Collaborate in Agile Flow
Participate in daily standups, communicate blockers early, and help keep releases on track and on time.
Document for Scale
Contribute to the delivery knowledge base with clear, actionable documentation that supports learning, reuse, and continuous improvement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, and relevant experience with emphasis on development utilizing cloud technologies.
2 yrs of Python software development experience.
2 yrs of Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or vSphere cloud experience.
2 yrs of API experience – creating, evolving and deprecating.
Front end User Interface development with an obsession for smooth interaction and reliability for the user.
Candidates should be highly motivated and capable of working independently.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to effectively document software designs, provide technical recommendations to product owners and communicate implementation details in simple non-technical fashion.
Comfortable with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Ability to maintaining confidentiality of investigation information.
Ability to adapt to changing requirements and constraints.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Python & Cloud certifications are highly desired.
Familiarity and/or previous experience with Agile (e.g. Scrum) is desired.
Terraform and AI Development Integration desired for future optimization.
Experience with ServiceNow and/or Rubrik
