Job Title: Sr Engineer, Software Engineering - Individual Contributor
Job Description
We are seeking a Sr Engineer in Software Engineering to develop software components for computer-assisted surgery applications. This role involves research, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software components within clinical application architecture. The software components may be shared across multiple applications or specific to a single application. This position is an individual contributor role, requiring the exercise of professional expertise and independent judgment with minimal supervision. A university degree or equivalent practical knowledge is essential, along with an understanding of procedures and concepts within the discipline. Attention to detail is crucial for making evaluative judgments based on factual analysis. A minimum of 2 years of experience is typically required.
Responsibilities
+ Develop software components for computer-assisted surgery applications.
+ Conduct research, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software components.
+ Design, develop, test, debug, and implement software components, tools, and utilities.
+ Work independently with minimal supervision, applying professional expertise.
+ Utilize judgment in making evaluative judgments based on factual analysis.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in C++
+ Experience with GitLab
+ Minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with QT
+ University degree or equivalent practical knowledge
Work Environment
This position is remote, with a preference for candidates located on the East Coast.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $100.00/hr.
