Job Description:

As a Software Engineer, you will solve a wide variety of problems involving networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and more, while making pragmatic engineering tradeoffs along the way. You will be the leading edge of the Maritime Software team — working in a tight feedback loop with vehicle platform software engineers and ensuring that products seamlessly work together to achieve a variety of critical outcomes. JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong engineering experience from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics4+ years of C++(core programming language- must have), Python, or Rust experience in a Linux (must have) development environmentExperience in programming that has made it onto a robotic system, vehicle, or something a customer depends onExperience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysisEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship is required for this role)Experience working on distributed systems (must have)RTOS (Nix, VxWorks, etc.)Payload experience for underwater systemsMathematics, Physics, or Science knowledgeFeature and algorithm development with an understanding of behavior treesDeveloping software/hardware for flight systems and safety-critical functionalityDistributed communication networks and message standardsKnowledge of military systems and operational tacticsActive Secret Clearance preferred but not required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $110.00/hr.
