Proofpoint. **The role:** Software Engineer **MUST HAVES:** + Distributed systems development with Java in the Kubernetes context. + Ability to develop REST API Java servers with ease. Standards mindset. + Experience developing Kafka-related applications handling data at high scale and large volumes. + AWS expert, ready to take on Azure and GCP. + Experience with Terraform/Crossplane and can handle continuous development processes/tools. **NICE TO HAVES:** + Familiarity with Java microprofile services such as Quarkus and Helidon. J + Java 17+. OpenAPI/Swagger familiarity.
