JOB TITLE: Software Engineer LOCATION: Irving, TX (hybrid role, may work from home) DUTIES: Research and develop state-of-the-art machine learning and statistical models to solve and optimize for predictive analytics problems across the retail business; Architect, develop and automate data pipelines, using technologies like Python, Spark, SQL and Azure, to establish interaction between stores, business groups, customers and products; Work and communicate effectively across various teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and present valuable insights to them in the form of reports, documents, presentations which effectively articulate technical topics to non-technical audience; Maintain, support and enhance existing machine learning models and data pipelines. REQUIREMENTS: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a machine learning engineer, data scientist, data engineer, or in as related/similar position. Experience therein to include 1 year with data analytics and building insights. Also requires the completion of university-level coursework, research project, internship, or thesis, or 1 year of experience in building machine learning models around subject areas of recommendations and forecasting, using Cloud platforms, Python, and SQL.
