DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Project Lead, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Project Lead, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Automated Clearing House; Jira; Java/J2EE; core APIs, web services, multi-threaded/concurrent programming, XML, design patterns, and Service Oriented Architecture; Designing and facilitating automation of application platforms using Appium; Executing software specifications against code on any development stack and enabling engineering performance by employing Behavior-Driven Development using Cucumber; Designing and building API automation for applications in a Microservices environment that deploys as REST APIs; Design and build web automation for applications that utilize JSON formatted data files/service payloads for data transfer; Designing and building API prototypes for application automation; Debugging and deploying web applications using automation server Jenkins; Monitoring application execution and/or performance and automate notification alerts using Splunk and Dynatrace; Building automation and maintaining code using GIT-based code repository Bitbucket; Conditioning and fetching complex business-specific test data for API/Web automation using applications built on Mainframe CICS, Java, and Spring Framework.

Full-Time. Salary: $160,100 - $215,000 per year.
