An IC3 **Software Engineer II** is a seasoned individual contributor who plays a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure software systems. Test design hypotheses and refine code plans with guidance from senior engineers. + Coding and Debugging: Write clean, maintainable, and extensible code. Conduct retrospective debugging to identify root causes of issues and implement fixes. + Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions. Participate in code reviews and team discussions. + Telemetry and Observability: Integrate instrumentation to gather telemetry data on system behavior, including performance, reliability, and usage. + Customer Focus: Understand customer pain points and translate them into technical solutions. Advocate for user experience in design and implementation decisions. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience. + Experience with large-scale cloud or distributed systems. + Proficiency in any of the languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript etc. + Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies, and modern development practices. + Passionate about AI, innovation, and emerging technologies. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science + OR related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience. \#M365Core Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
