Warner Bros. Games Boston is a Warner Bros. Games development studio focused on creating free-to-play games for mobile platforms. The studio is utilizing its extensive expertise in creating persistent online worlds that foster powerful social gaming communities to develop its hit mobile game, Game of Thrones: Conquest.
Your New Role
WB Games Boston is looking for a Software Engineer to join the team. In this position, you will have a hands-on role maintaining and implementing the tools and services that support our live mobile titles.
Your Role Accountabilities
Develop, maintain, and improve tools and support applications to help run and build our online mobile games
Work with the Microsoft Blazor web framework to build rich intranet and locally installed applications
Work closely with other teams and disciplines to gather requirements, design new systems, and solicit feedback
Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and code health
Qualifications & Experience
Proficient in basic software development including coding (in any language), data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis (big-O), and systems design
Experience with C#
Experience with web development
Knowledge of Microsoft Blazor and/or ASP.NET
Experience with CSS and Javascript
Experience with cloud, containerization and microservices
Experience using or implementing RESTful and/or gRPC services
Experience with database design and SQL
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members and stake holders
Contribute to architecture and technical reviews, as well as code reviews of other engineers
Willingness to understand and advocate for customer-focused solutions
