The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, to support our NATO Allied Special Operations Forces Command (SOFCOM) customer in Mons, Belgium. This position is contingent upon award of a pending contract. This position is located OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, and integrates software solutions on multiple platforms and on classified and unclassified networks and systems, including communications systems
Uses best practices (e.g., Agile) and DevSecOps tools (e.g., Jira, Cameo, Git) to develop, research, test, enhance, debug, implement, and integrate software solutions IAW user stories and requirements documents
Analyzes, designs, implements, tests, or evaluates software solutions and architecture models using modeling methodologies to conduct technical assessments and make recommendations that inform key technical decisions
Uses software development platforms in the USAREUR-AF and MP IT portfolios to develop and sustain software and applications
Collaborates with USAREUR-AF and MPs to capture, analyze, and verify requirements and assists with the transition to automated tools
Conducts testing of platforms, systems, and interfaces and submits release packages with service validation and test results to the Government
Supports maturation and facilitation of software integration analysis and reporting
Provides engineering expertise for migration and transition of systems, including from on-premises solutions to cloud-based solutions, and end-of-life replacement support
Provides technical solutions to complex problems, including troubleshooting to resolve software-related incidents and problems and improve performance and reliability
Develops and authors policies, procedures, guidelines, TTPs, application documentation, and deliverables, such as source code and software development products (DEL 13), in accordance with DoD guidelines, DISA STIGs, and IEEE 12207
May attend and participate in meetings to discuss new technologies, technology insertion projects, and modernization roadmaps
Mentors software engineers and developers
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge
May supervise others Manages, operates, and maintains Database Management Systems (DBMS) and servers (e.g., SQL) in multiple environments
Qualifications:
Required:
Experience 8-12 years with a BA/BS in related field preferred or equivalent experience considered.
Possess a Secret clearance with the ability to retain.
Demonstrates expert-level proficiency in designing, developing, testing, and integrating complex software solutions across multiple platforms and classified/unclassified networks.
Exhibits mastery of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps tools, applying best practices to develop and implement software solutions in accordance with user requirements.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of software architecture modeling and technical assessment methodologies.
Shows expertise in portfolio development platforms, with proven ability to collaborate on requirement capture and automation.
Displays advanced skills in system testing, release management, and software integration analysis.
Demonstrates proficiency in system migration, including cloud transitions and end-of-life replacements.
Excels at providing technical solutions to complex problems, improving software performance and reliability.
Creates comprehensive documentation, policies, and procedures, adhering to applicable guidelines and standards, preferably in a DoD environment.
Exhibits leadership in mentoring junior engineers and potentially supervising teams.
Possesses domain expertise and applies comprehensive knowledge to high-impact assignments across the software development lifecycle.
Certification – CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or SSCP or PenTest+ or Security+ or GSEC or Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated or Training and Additional Certification
Desired:
Experience in supporting the NATO Allies Special Forces Command (SOFCOM) Mission Partner (MP).
Experience managing complex IT and communication system projects.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
