**Summary:** Reality Labs focuses on delivering Meta's vision through Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). The compute performance and power efficiency requirements of Virtual and Augmented Reality require custom silicon. The Silicon team is driving the state of the art forward with breakthrough work in computer vision, machine learning, mixed reality, graphics, displays, sensors, and new ways to map the human body. Our chips will enable AR and VR devices where our real and virtual world will mix and match throughout the day. We believe the only way to achieve our goals is to look at the entire stack, from transistor, through architecture, to firmware, and algorithms.You will be part of the End-to-End (E2E) System and Infrastructure team at Reality Labs Silicon. Your work will focus on building and scaling software infrastructure and automation strategies for product development and validation targeting Meta’s custom-designed System-on-Chips (SoCs) with low-level embedded software. The ideal candidate will understand Software/Hardware system integration on both pre-silicon and post-silicon platforms.This is a full-time position. **Required Skills:** Software Engineer, Silicon Infrastructure Responsibilities: 1. Support all phases of SoC development – including standing-up pre-silicon model platforms, early software enablement and SoC bring-up, portable framework architectures and automation strategies implementation targeting simulation, emulation, FPGA and post-silicon product boards 2. Develop automation frameworks that allow the silicon organization to move fast with high confidence in the quality of prototyping, system provisioning, silicon/software validation, and system integration 3. Develop and distribute software APIs to orchestrate silicon development platforms to automate stimuli input and capture output datastreams for system integration and end-to-end product scenarios 4. Invent new tools that streamline reliable software deployment, test execution, and data analysis for on-device continuous integration and release systems 5. Stand-up telemetry, data loggers, and health monitoring systems of distributed software infrastructure while integrating with internal AI-tooling for improved observability and debugging **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 6. B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience 7. 2+ years of experience in software development 8. Experience in software design and programming in C/C++ and Python for development, debugging, testing and system integration 9.
