We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead our PLANet (WW Operations Financial Planning product) team within Amazon's Stores Finance Tech (ASFT) organization. You will be responsible for building high-performance, globally scalable Financial systems that support Amazon's current and future growth in an environment where you can drive innovation. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to guide a team in delivering innovative solutions that transform financial planning processes.

Key job responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
* Collaborate with product managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to define and execute the technical roadmap, aligning with the organization's goals for standardization and automation.
* Spearhead the development of GenAI and machine learning initiatives, to enhance plan forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLANet with other financial systems.
* Drive adoption of PLANet across North America and European teams, working closely with finance stakeholders to ensure the platform meets their needs.
* Contribute to the development of the team's technical strategy and long-term vision for PLANet.
* Ensure the team adheres to best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
