The DSP Engineering team within Multichannel Advertising is building the next generation of products and services that will fuel the growth of Amazon’s advertising business. The DSP team owns the web app for advertisers to place orders for programmatic ad campaigns on Amazon and most other sites across the Internet. Think order management including capturing limit prices, targeting customer segments, spreadsheet-style inline editing, bulk order editing, integration with algorithms, and connectivity to advertising exchanges.
We are looking for a talented Engineering leader to lead our customer facing technology for the Supply business. This includes advertiser facing web applications as well as partner integrations. In this role, you will build and lead a team of engineers and partner closely with cross functional business and technology leaders. You will draw from your broad and deep understanding of digital advertising, technical product, engineering and business expertise to provide leadership for defining customer needs, product proposals and delivery. You will work closely with leaders across Amazon to define and rapidly execute on cross functional initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
Driving engineering - product and engineering goal definitions, business requirements for product releases, engineering design, implementation and delivery.
Simplifying and solving for complex, inter-dependent customer and business opportunities.
Deep interactions with customers and field teams – work directly with customers, internal stakeholders, sales and business development managers across Amazon Advertising.
Hiring, leading and mentoring engineers and architects.
Product operations – Monitor customer feedback, response, and metrics. Develop plans to support growth and to enable the business to scale efficiently.
Influencing senior leaders across Amazon – proactively communicate program vision, customer impact, progress and plans, and align with Amazon’s core principles.
